Public Enemy has remained an important and influential collective for more than 20 years.
After entering the music scene in 1987 with their first single 'Public Enemy #1' they stormed the music world with political and social orientated rhymes on albums such as 'Yo! Bum Rush the Show', 'It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back' and 'Fear of a Black Planet'.
Delivered by front man Chuck D, backed by hype man Flava Fav and Professor Griff, along with production by the Bomb Squad and the millitant-looking stage presence of the S1W's, Public Enemy was able to create a sound and a look that resonated around the world.
