Shepard Fairey - Artist Proofs
With only a handful of Shepard Fairey prints making it into the UK each year we are very lucky to have got our hands on The Gaslamp Killer Artist Proofs.
Shepard's work has become really hard to come by of late and sells out in minutes whenever released in the US.
Super Limited Edition, these 18" x 24" prints are all signed by the man himself. and marked with "AP" rather than the usual numbered version which is long sold out.
“My art for the Gaslamp Killer mix was inspired by a combination of the music and personality of the Gaslamp Killer. The GLK is into dark and psychedelic sounds, so that, combined with his name, called for a hippie/horror salad tossed with a blood vinaigrette. The flavour was only enhanced by the Gaslamp Killer's more sinister personal look, having shaved his dreads and grown an unruly beard and sideburns combo worthy of the most savage maniacs.
